Ingredients
 4 ea.
Sweet potatoes
 2 tsp.
Vegetable oil
 To taste.
Butter
 To taste.
Cinnamon

Cooking Instructions:

  • Using a fork, poke holes in the top of the potatoes.
  • Bake sweet potatoes in their skins (uncovered in oven) or microwave (covered in clear plastic wrap) until tender.
  • Heat the smoker to 200 - 225°F.
  • Brush the vegetable oil onto the potatoes.
  • Cut an ‘X’ in the top of each potato.
  • Squeeze the bottom of the potatoes to push the orange flesh up through the cut in the skin; but not so far up that it falls out.
  • Place the potatoes in a foil pan and place it on the smoker rack, uncovered.
  • Smoke for 30 minutes.
  • Put butter and cinnamon on the top of each potato and serve.
